Rudico in Apeldoorn originated from the corrugated cardboard industry in 1962 from a common need for good image carriers. What once started with simple image carriers that contained texts such as “fragile” or arrows, has now grown into the manufacture of very high-quality image carriers for complex printed matter. In 1987, the first flexo printing press was installed at the company that meanwhile had moved to Eerbeek. Since then, pre-printing has also been part of the portfolio. In 2012, this machine was replaced by an advanced BOBST with which very high quality printed matter can be delivered on 2.5 widths. Finally, the portfolio was enriched with the establishment of Rudico Trading in 2004 for the supply of cleaning agents for printing presses. This has been further developed into a total cleaning concept and is offered under the Pulse brand.
